2021 Back To The Beach is coming this May.

A 5k rack held on the grounds at Stony Creek.

Open to the first 250 runners who register.

With everyone still concerned about Covid, social distancing, face masks and who is not vaccinated it is not surprising that the park cannot guarantee if any races will be allowed to run this Spring and Summer.  We did not want to let another year pass by without putting on some type of Back To The Beach event so we are very happy to let you know that you can now register for a special type of 5k race at Stony Creek Eastwood Beach.

Here is what you have to look forward too;

-Run our actual 5k course anytime that is convenient for you over the weekend from noon Friday 5/14, all day Saturday 5/15 or thru noon Sunday 5/16.  You can also run it as a traditional virtual race anywhere else you would like to run.

-The actual race course at Eastwood Beach will be all flagged out and will also have directional arrows and mile markers.   Our traditional Start/Finish line will be clearly marked out in the usual spot.

-Everyone who registers will receive a full size “Back To The Beach” towel and one other item of your choice at packet pickup.  Example of these other items are, Sun Guy Running Hat, Super Big Sun Guy Mug, Sun Guy Coffee Mug and Sun Guy Ceramic Coaster.  There may be others as well.  Any two items are worth well over the $20.00 fee.

-Run anytime from Friday afternoon, all day Saturday or Sunday morning. 

-Run with your family and friends and have others cheer you on at a time convenient for you and your group.

-Log your finish time into the race website and see how you finish in your age group.

-2 packet pickup dates.

-All this for only a $20.00 race registration fee. 

-We also will have an optional opportunity for you to donate to a great trail improvement project.  All funds raised will be matched dollar for dollar up to $2,500.00 by the Back To The Beach Runners.
