Saturday, October 9th, Our Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Bloomfield Hills

The Forever Home Run began in 2015 as a partnership between Lutheran Adoption Service and Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church to raise awareness and funding to support foster children waiting for their forever families. This year we will have both a virtual and an in-person option. The virtual event can be run anytime between October 8th -10th. The in-person event takes place on October 9th at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Churchand  includes two races: a 5k through beautiful Bloomfield Hills complete with fall foliage (9:00am) and a 1k Dress-Up Dash (10:45am).

The 5k is certified (click here) and professionally timed (microchip) by East Side Racing Company. You are welcome to wear your favorite costume for either the 5k or the Dress-Up Dash. There will also be childrens activities and community vendors. There will be medals for all finishers and prizes for overall winners as well as the top runner in each category. These prizes have yet to be determined.

In 2020, Lutheran Adoption Service facilitated 347 adoptions in large part thanks to the generosity of our participants and sponsors. PACKET PICK UP available on October 8th from 2-4pm, at BSLC
Day of check in and registration starts at 8 am.
5k begins at 9 am and the Dress Up Dash at 10:15 am
5k price increases to $40 on race day, Dress-Up Dash increases to $20 on race day.
Event shirts guaranteed to those registered by September 10th.

All entries include a finisher medal as well as an event shirt.
