2nd Annual Huron Valley For Hope 5k

Register for 2nd Annual Huron Valley For Hope 5k

Saturday, June 8th, Lakeland High School in White Lake

This 2nd year event originated from an idea from a group of students called the CKC, Cool Kids Club, from Oak Valley Middle School. The goal of their group is to go above and beyond, be good leaders, do great things for their school and community, and they wanted to help a global cause. Their idea was to host an event that families could participate in together while supporting a worthy cause. They decided to help support Hope Water International.  This is an organization that helps provide access to clean water worldwide. Specifically, the organization helps the Pokot people in villages across Africa bringing clean water.  In the past 5 years, more than 100 wells have been installed in the most remote and rural villages across Africa. With each well, communities  and villages grow, health is restored, and lives are saved. Link to Hope Water International:  https://www.hopewaterinternational.org/  Please plan to bring your families to walk or run and help these students support this worthy cause.

The course is the Lakeland High School cross country course.  It starts behind the school and is run off road.

Everyone registered by May 21st will be getting the shirt size requested.
