Register for the Officer Collin Rose 2K9 Memorial Run and 5K

The Officer Collin Rose 2K9 Memorial Run and 5K will be held Saturday October 12, 2019 at the Matthaei Complex on the campus of Wayne State University in honor of Collin Rose of the Wayne State University Police Department who was killed in the line of duty on Nov. 23, 2016. 

Participants can enter the 2K9 Run/Walk and participate with their dog or enter the 5K Run/Walk for humans only.  All participants must sign a liability waiver and all dogs must be leashed, licensed, vaccinated and be social with other dogs and people.   Both events will start and finish in the end zone of the Tom Adams field.  The 5K will take runners through the Wayne State University campus while the 2K route will loop the athletic complex.  

This unique and inspiring event sold out last year so be sure to register early to guarantee your spot and event shirt!  The event will start and finish from the Matthaei Complex located at 5101 John C Lodge Fwy.  There is ample onsite parking.

Register before September 29th to guarantee your event shirt.  Finisher medals to the top 300 finishers.

Race registration is now closed. You may still register as an EVENT SUPPORTER and receive an event shirt.  You are welcome to participate in the running event but will not receive a time or finisher medal.  Runners in the 2k and 5k with bib numbers will receive a medal at the finish line.
